Breaking news: prescient thriller on the loose in N London

Darkly humorous & zeitgeisty, The Breaking Of Liam Glass is a thriller of our times

When Aikido black belt toting screenwriter Charles Harris initially wrote north London social thriller The Breaking Of Liam Glass he had little idea how freakily prescient its knife crime, tabloid politics and fake news themes would turn out to be.

When a white teenage footballer is stabbed on a mixed race estate in Regents Park, a devious and ambitious local hack sees the story as his route to the top of the greasy tabloid pole.

What follows is a high octane plot that questions today’s world and values as the story unfurls to reveal a tangle of lies and deceit.

Author Charles Harris will be on hand at 7.30 on 4 December to talk about his novel, answer questions and sign copies of The Breaking Of Liam Glass. entry is free, but please callĀ  or email if you’d like to attend or if you’d like a signed copy put aside or posted to you
